Welcome to Solace Jewelry, a sanctuary forged during one of life’s most challenging moments. I'm Laura Walker, the founder, and Solace transcends the typical jewelry brand to embody a mission driven by personal adversity and profound love.

In October 2023, my mother was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer. This difficult news marked the beginning of a period of great challenge for my family, filled with both hardship and resilience. My mom, a lifelong creative who has owned an art gallery and a lavender farm, has inspired my sister, Kathryn, and me with her strength and courage.

Turning to creativity as a form of solace felt natural and served as active meditation. From seasonal decorations to woodworking and painting, each project provided a sense of solace. However, it was through creating jewelry that I felt most at peace.
